I'm sure many of you have noticed by now, that we've had a tough time picking a winner for our Gold Medal Pet. What an incredibly difficult decision! Each of our judges picked a different favorite, so we were deadlocked. Finally an impartial tie-breaker was called in to review the entries, and our winner is.........
(imagine drum-roll here....)
Pebbles!
Pebbles was chosen as our Gold Medal Pet for several reasons --- One judge stated that "He looks like an athlete on the podium proudly accepting a medal for his country." (I think he was right - except now we know that Pebbles is a girl! Sorry, Pebbles!) And our tie-breaking judge liked Pebbles for her Olympic-sized wrinkles and a really great photograph! So congratulations to Pebbles and Dawn, who has won a Guardian Angel collar tag from FurryFun!
